Pokémon Legends Z-A

After what felt like an ending with so many plot holes in XY, Z-A manages to tie some of that in a neat little bow and I love it!... despite being only in Lumiose City.

I also love the new characters in Z-A, but I wish they would bring back more characters from XY!

Adding onto this, the creator of Invincible - Robert Kirkman, is a huge fan of the Mortal Kombat games.

When Omni-Man released as DLC in MK1, it was a fever dream for him.

MK1 walked so that Invincible VS could run. I have high hopes for the development team creating such brutal finishers!

Adding to Invincible VS, the game is being made by core developers for KI 2013.

Super Mario RPG (Switch remake)

This was another game I had on the back burner because of the hype surrounding it, and it didn't disappoint.

Fun gameplay with a lot of charm, but the journey felt short. I know there's a post-game I gotta do, but the main story was shorter than I thought.

Astral Chain

Even though the combat was fun, I could care less about getting S+ Rank battles because the story for this game was so enticing.

Every character in this game felt so human that I just wanted to give them all hugs. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna tell my sisters I love them.

Barret fires his gun arm at the Bomb and Tifa kicks the Allemagne while Cloud readies his buster sword attack on the Boundfat. Rayman Legends

Though there was no concrete story for Rayman Legends, the gameplay was a lot of fun!

One of the most fun platformers I've played in a while and I love how there's a lot of post-content after beating the game. Just wish I gave myself the time to play through said content lol

What Remains of Edith Finch

One of the most tragic games I've ever played, it was hard to not shed a tear for each individual characters' stories.

There was little to do in terms of interactivity (spent only 2 hours playing through it), but the storytelling really made up for it. 9/10
