I heard there was a secret note

But you said messing’s too much cleanup for you
Doing the required laundry right afterwards would see work, so Shammai taught that one should not piss their pants on Shabbat as a fence around the Torah. Hillel, however, argued that the same could be said for all clothes worn on Shabbat.
Donald Trump will never hear the jokes you make but your followers who loudly shit themselves on camera will. Choose kindness❤️🩹

Also how some conservative lawmakers protested the recent “Antisemitism Awareness Act” not because it would criminalize most criticisms of Israel but because they wanted to defend the “Jews killed Jesus” trope sksksjdkld
True connoisseurs are here for all three 🧐
Arabic is toughhh, but if you have Hebrew grammar down it might come more easily to you. Lot of cognates, verb stems work similarly, plus then you’d know a tet from a tav and a samech from a sin

If I ever host a Seder we’re saying “next year at Denny’s” for Nirtzah
My biggest gripe about matzo is that Pesach could’ve been the pancake holiday instead of the cracker holiday but noooooo

What boggles me more than someone’s intent to convert is the time it takes.
Christianity: you want to convert? Say this prayer. You’re a Christian now!
Islam: you want to revert? Say this prayer. You’re a Muslim again!
Judaism: you want to convert? hope you’re not busy for the next two years!
Ohhhhh, now it’s all coming together. Thanks for sharing about your journey! 🥰 gut shabbos~
I’d really only ever heard of Chabad going after secular Jews-by-birth. They also target Christians/non-Jews??
So fascinating! What is his reasoning for spreading Judaism?
What branch of Judaism is this?? I’ve never heard of a proselytizing rabbi in my life??
😳😳 as in.. he hopes that more people convert, or that he can guide those already intending to convert?
😢🫂 I’m sorry that was your experience starting out
Back in the medieval period, Jews lived under heavy Christian scrutiny, as they were accused of drawing people away from Christ. Converts being rejected 3 times by a rabbi, etc grew out of this reality. Nowadays it’s far chiller, but still not a simple or quick process.
