We thought if they could see us as human, based on their definition of humanity, things would change for us. So we pushed for validation through policies and laws. An acknowledgment, a surrender to their power. How long we were to allow them to define anything.

LETS BE CLEAR! Blackness IS our resistance, our freedom and our liberation!
Black culture is how we have survived.
Our survival IS the thing that infuriates them.
Our survival is the thing that is coveted around the world.
