It’s possible the west shore ridings might flip blue. But red? Like the polls suggest they could?

That’s a tough sell….

(If they are beaten though, then those parties were destined for the dustbin of history anyway. Will that implication make people less likely to abandon them? I think it just might… #yyj)

My most controversial position in this campaign is that regardless of what the polls say it’s unlikely the decade-plus riding holds the NDP & Greens have here on south Vancouver Island will be beaten by candidates nobody had ever heard of until about four weeks ago. #yyj

Good. If they pass this, the NDP tries to wipe them out at the next opportunity yet again anyway.

I wonder if the councillors will agree in time? It’s too late for them to avoid getting involved after all. I suppose we’ll find out.

I suspect that anybody who tells you they understand what happens out in Langford probably isn’t paying very close attention.

As for who you think my friends are, I am a friend to all. A humble chronicler of events.

I understand the experience is quite subjective. It seems to be less enjoyable when one based in Victoria gets involved in Langford. From what I’ve been told at least.

Devin, you were with involved with Langford Now and then you were involved with the Greens. You won one and then lost the other.

I don’t know how that has anything to do with me, BS, or getting “pulled into” anything.

If anything, I got pulled into all that… You were all out here before I was.

ICYMI: Victoria Mayor Alto referenced Island Health last week as an example of a public authority the city’s bylaws may no longer permit to direct/transport persons experiencing homelessness to city parks to shelter outdoors.

Question: how many patients went to Victoria parks in recent years? #yyj

Video: Spt. Todd Preston warns Langford Council they are risking fracturing the RCMP funding relationship between West Shore municipalities with an action he says is essentially defunding service.
