Sadly only making to PAX on Sunday meant I didn't get enough time to say hi to everyone in AusSpeedruns but I'm looking forward making amends in 2026 😁

With PAX over, I'm taking a break from speedrunning + streaming until 2026. Besides potentially a Paper Mario TTYD run, it's crunch time for my band so I will be focusing on that for the rest of the year.

The speedrun is quite forgiving compared to Polar Express, very easy to learn so I'd definitely recommend it!

Need to re-time but I'm pretty sure it's a 58:20. Super sloppy run especially in Yasmin's segments but it clears WR by almost 90 seconds! Had a lot of fun routing this game!

Specifically, WR is able to walk from one shop to another in 12.007 seconds. On NTSC, I cannot break sub 14 EVER. When switching to PAL, I was able to lower it to 11.570 seconds????????? 😇

I was 2 seconds behind the WR in a segment where you literally only have to hold "UP". TWO SECONDS. I was really questioning my existence.
Then I uncovered the fact that Jade and the other Bratz much faster on PAL than NTSC. I feel a little better, but I'm still recovering from this crisis 🙃

I certainly won't be submitting runs to a leaderboard ruled by mods who have inadequate proof standards, especially for WR runs.

It should be mandatory for all world record runs in any game to have game audio included. I just saw a verified WR with NO game audio at any point, which makes me question the integrity of the mods who verified this run.

As someone else put it, it's a very well made shitty game i.e. very hard to do OOB skips and the bulk of the run is RNG. It's not the fastest game I've ran but I like grinding until I can one day get the optimal run...
