On a related note, the Get-WrappedCommand is very handy for getting information about the cmdlets that are imported during an Exchange Online remote management session. Check this out! #PowerShell #M365 #Security #Maester

You have to love those moments when troubleshooting prompts you to dig a little deeper than usual and your curiosity is rewarded! Today I noticed the IsCloudShellEnvironment function in the ExchangeOnlineManagement #PowerShell module. Neat trick for workflows!

Question for #Azure, #Sentinel, and maybe #KQL friends: is there any way to drill my Microsoft Sentinel monthly costs to determine which data sources (or tables) are contributing the most to the accumulated cost? #MicrosoftSentinel

The auth issues were resolved in 2.27.0 for me. Did you still see problems in 27 and 28?

That module is developed and managed separately from the Microsoft.Graph.

The Microsoft Graph SDK and Microsoft.Graph #PowerShell module version 2.29.1 are now available.

No known significant issues since the 2.27 and 2.26 releases. I am able to connect with the Microsoft.Entra module and with Maester. πŸ‘

I still have my builds in the Catesta framework/pipeline, which has a few well-aged dependencies: Plaster 1.1.4, Pester 4.10.1, InvokeBuild 5.8.0, PSScriptAnalyzer 1.19.1, and platyPS 0.12.0. Have been eyeing PSFramework and Stucco, but change is hard and my first attempt with Stucco was not great.

There’s a sad number of systems I still have it enabled, and it does usually represent a finding on security audits.

PowerShell 2.0 has been deprecated since Windows 10 build 1709. It should be disabled on all systems, as Windows PowerShell 5.1 ships with better security and functionality.

🐣 As of Windows 11 Insider preview build 27891 (canary), Windows #PowerShell 2.0 has been removed! πŸͺ¦

Installing PowerShell with the .NET Tool The .NET Tool (dotnet) can be used to easily install the LTS or STS version of PowerShell without local admin rights, but it does have some limitations.
