Grateful, proud, happy and inspired.
Kids (and older folks) we able to make mini โprotestโ signs reminiscent of civil rights era messages.
We heard speakers recount their stories of that period in our history and had the opportunity to speak with them in small groups.
We heard powerful and beautiful music.
I was fortunate to have joined the Barrington DEI Committee at the right time, and get to be part of this incredible day!
The committee members worked for many months to put together a program in celebration of the life and spirit of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr, and it showed!
