Distributing to community leaders, to #WNC for #Helene aid is efficient and equitable. This ensures aid gets to frontline communities.

Aside from sending semi's of relief supplies to our community partners out west, we also flew ER docs to hospitals that were locked in because of flooding, collapsed roads and mudslides.

This is a wider shot of Inventory in progress for Hurricane Helene relief. There are volunteers sorting relief supplies that Day One Relief brings to community partners in Western North Carolina. There are folding tables with relief supplies on them. Behind the tables are three bay doors that are open. In the next room you can see pallets of supplies.

5 boxes of Hitachi Nails Wire Coil. They are stacked on a dolly with a yellow handle. These nails are going to Swannanoa, NC to help rebuild.

This is a partially loaded Penske truck, There are 7 pallets on the truck. The pallet in the front has diapers and wipes on the. The pallets in the back are in cardboard boxes and wrapped with plastic wrap.

Day One Relief understands the way to make sure aid gets where it’s needed the most is by working with community groups in affected areas.
