Chicken Noodle Soup is always good, but Chili is an absolute must. I like making my Chili with a few mashed capers mixed in, adds a nice little tangy flavor. Also needs plenty of pepper.

A freshly picked bundle of sunchokes, A.K.A. Jerusalem Artichokes, about the size of one's fist.

Dug up a good portion of my sunchokes today. Despite only having 3 of 4 plants remaining, with 2 damaged from a severe storm last year, I've still pulled a whole lot of them! Haven't weighed them, but I'd guess about 8 pounds worth. Definitely excited to start on this year's garden! 🌱
