Halifax's mayor wants to pause bike infrastructure projects even those already approved and funded by council.
So a couple of hundred cyclists - me included - showed up at City Hall this morning to politely show our disagreement. Active mobility infrastructure helps traffic congestion.
“This isn’t a step backwards”??!?! 😡 we are already so behind in active transport infrastructure I can’t imagine we will ever see forward again. I hope councillors call out this bullshit.
