I think most people don’t know or have completely forgotten how long it took for these girls to be taken seriously and then how the prosecution treated them like they deserved what happened to them. Everyone who knew and did nothing should feel just as much shame.

Recent developments

I used to say "most women" but once you understand that, eg, being groped on the bus or at a party IS ASSAULT, the enormity of it hits home.

And just like the people at the parties, we all know about it. A lot of us think it's funny. And most of us do nothing.

There's a kind of rage I have for these stories that is beyond words for me. And please, please, please remember that while not every woman you know experienced an Epstein or a Trump, every woman you know, and a heartbreaking number of the girls, has experienced some kind of sexual assault.

That's before you get to the people at the parties. People who would never but knew that some of the men did. People who thought it was over the top but hey the girls look like they're having fun! People who wouldn't let those men anywhere near their daughters, but THOSE girls are little sluts.
