Every year I run a Holidays WishList Request program.
Everyone on the list is multiply marginalized (BIPOC, LGBT+, disabled) with little family.

Some get no presents for holidays.

I thought Nessarose’s character was a bit more developed and ableism (esp infantilization) is actually recognized which was cool to see on screen. I am veryyy interested to see part 2 and if they change her narrative (and the very thematic ableism) at all from the original show!

While I miss the overconfidence of my youth (knowing everything simplified matters significantly), seeing folks my age and older whose egos have run amok is a grounding experience. I am grateful to people who were patient with me back when I knew it all and who helped me realize that I didn't.

Reminder that any “men are inherently bad” “women are inherently good” rhetoric can very easily lead down a TERF/anti-trans pipeline! no one is inherently anything! we are all humans with free will! I will not let trans people become scapegoats on this page!!
