I'm a lore nerd, I like lore, but the story has zero compelling reasons for me to ever give one iota of a shit about the world because the stories being told are so aggressively average and unappealing it makes me feel like I'm dumpster diving for a single nik nak.

I'm not saying this to be a "Well actually" reply guy, I'm highlighting the absolute Tolken-esque insanity that went into the world building, and lore crafting of this alien planet, only to have the first plot McGuffin be "Unobtanium" or the plot itself to be a direct rip off of Dances With Wolves

Right so, Pandora has a near fully explained evolutionary history, down to explaining that all of the 6 limb creatures having a common ancestor, and even have a linked primate-like creature in the process of fusing its four fore-limbs in an effort to explain why the Navi are four limbed.

I was checking this out on Gamepass yesterday and wondered if someone in the office has played it, seems like we were all on the same wavelength.

Its funny, you can spend a whole weekend with someone and know nothing about them.
