“Lame-o” probably isn’t a term Chris Luxon should be throwing around right now. Lame-o Luxon. It writes itself!

Christopher Luxon announces India trip The stakes are high for Luxon after he promised during a 2023 election debate that he would strike a free trade deal with India in his first term.

He’s brave. Botany by-pass? www.rnz.co.nz/news/politic...

It was only September when the Government parties’ combined polling was as strong as their election night results. Now the Govt and Opposition blocks are neck and neck. What’s changed since then?? 🤔

Man killed on Auckland's Southwestern motorway struck by three cars - police Police are now looking for witnesses after the death and another fatal crash on Auckland's motorways.

The story is light on detail so forgive me if the situation is not what it seems, but three vehicles hitting a person and none of the drivers stopping is a concerning indicator of the state of our society. www.rnz.co.nz/news/nationa...

So racism is 100% fine with Peters until he gets a whiff that it might have a financial impact on a portfolio he manages?

Watched Armageddon yesterday. What a yawnfest. Gervais has become completely one-note. The set was littered with unoriginal cliches and his “shocking” material was no better than your uncle at Christmas dinner. But he’s identified his target audience and the money will roll in.

I spend quite a bit of time on LinkedIn these days. I get some rigorous debate and insightful points of view there. I’ve also learned that a lot of people (men) with serious looking job titles are absolutely bat shit crazy. 🇳🇿

Scientists' letter calls for freshwater protections to remain Scientists and leaders have sent an open letter appealing to the prime minister not to change the country's freshwater policy.

It reads: "New Zealand's rivers, lakes and aquifers are in a dire state. If you proceed with your proposals to undo the country's freshwater policy, they will only get worse."

Health Minister Shane Reti responsible for review of ‘affirmative action’ scheme he graduated fr... A review of the long-standing admissions programme for Māori and Pasifika medical students is either 'pointless' or 'perfectly sensible', depending on who you ask.

Seymour demands review of the admissions system for Māori and Pacifica medical students but not rural and regional students. Just another racist waste of time and money. 🇳🇿

In Government I had to put up with Shane Jones’ plosives about “1 BILLION trees” every time he opened his mouth. Wonder if he will say 24 BILLION dollars with the same arrogant audacity.

Holy shit. Our Government is reversing initiatives intended to reduce smoking rates and expects that to help fund tax cuts for the rich. Nicola Willis said so. What have we done?
