🤔 Right after harvesting fruits from controlled crosses, it’s time to care for the babies: we extract the pits and place the embryos in vitro culture!
🤩Who knows? One of these babies might become a future cultivar!

📣 Spring is the season of interns!
😀 We are pleased to welcome Saviour Okine, a M2 intern from Master "BOOST" in Nice for 6 months in the #PRADAM team.
🍒 Saviour will be in charge to improve phenomic prediction models of phenology using NIRS from fresh leaves vs powders.

Last week members of the #FDFE team participated to the workshop "Advancing Berry Breeding: From Phenotyping to Genomic Innovation" (part of EU #BreedingValue project) dedicated to berry genetic resources and their use in genomic approaches (GWAS, MAS, GS).
