My kid’s school is doing a production of Annie and I got to do a bald cap for Warbucks 3 nights this week! I did makeup at the Lamplighters in SF while I was in college and it’s lovely (at 50 years old!) to still get to play and that people are excited about it.

Yes-they’re already working on creating more division and anger at people other than the people in power. The focus is going to be on getting back at other people who are seen as the enemy (immigrants, LGBTQ, etc), not changing the people in power.

I’m so sorry. I know the feeling. My dad is in hospice and the caregiver said “He’s being so kind and gentle!” and my response was 😬. He has never been either of those things. He went from”very forceful personality” to, well, not, and it’s disorienting.
