I was just coming to add my own thoughts on this as an extension of my post from last night about the objects representing inner demons that each side of Taylor is shackled with but this sums it up better then what I was going to say! Give it a read! Gonna add a few comments of my own here.

Also forgot to say, the bathtub with Taylor all goopy reminds me of the cardigan/willow mv, almost drowning, but clinging to what matters (music) and just getting through. After cleaning herself up (bathtub) she can continue with her life and move on

Cactus and rock end up together, symbolizing that there's no future for Taylor and them anymore. It isnt shown what Taylor and domnhall end up doing, other than performing and being happy. I'm thinking that this is her plan for the future, the two sides of her together doing what she loves

She's shocked and almost gives up, letting herself get sprayed with nopalite. Domnhall prevents this, symbolizing poet/real Taylor not giving up on coming out etc. They perform together (eras tour), not caring about the opinions of others anymore. They're doing what they love and they're together

They can think about the future and have fun together. They get pretzels at the mall (many have linked this to queerness/ME! mv). But Taylor drops it when she sees rock and cactus. Domnhall does hold on to it. Representing the FCO from lover, when her masters were stolen by Scott x2

He decides it isnt worth getting hurt any longer, so he sprays the cactus. Symbolizing Taylor no longer giving the wrong people the power to hurt her anymore. They get together (the merging of the two taylors, like in the fortnight mv and anti-hero mv) and find the safety and recognition they wanted

Meanwhile, we see the man working on his relationship, but he keeps getting hurt over and over. I'm not sure if this represents her trying to build a normal life but failing, or her getting hurt by friends/lovers (Kimye, beards or Karlie etc.) He does all the normal things, going to parties/dates

She even puts on glitter before performing (lover coming out?) But there is no real celebrating. So she decides to remove herself from the situation, like she left the label in 2018

Because we see Taylor and rock working on her career. She's thinking about her future (with the paper fortunetellers), singing, and working (out). The friendship bracelet could refer to them starting out together and signing contracts. All the while she's doing the work and getting nothing back

Has anyone made a two-taylor analysis yet? Taylor representing showgirl/poster Taylor (and the rock being BMR or Scott borchetta), and Domnhall representing Poet/real Taylor

Yess im guessing the full sign reads: "respect others experiences, be patient for the encore, the(?) Show" which is very interesting

Laughing at the fact that the music video ends with tay in a talent show with her partner, while the rock and cactus are the ones who get married. Noticing some bejeweled parallels🤔🤭

Has anyone figured out yet what the small orange bird means? Is it a reference to the orange birdcage in LWYMMD, as in she's free now?
Also, the only time she's in orange in te video is when she has the feather showgirl costume, so again she is the bird?

So Taylor only liked tiktoks with Ophelia and Opalite last night, which makes me think Opalite is a possible next single. All I'm saying is that song would work really well in December with all the christmasvibes so I can totally see it 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

My current theory is that this era (+possibly the super bowl) is the talent competition scene in the bejeweled music video. The ghosting but keeping the castle comes after with TS13 or a doc, but it feels more logically to me to really reap the benefits financially of this show before blowing it up
