i feel like i might be the unluckiest person ever at having therapy appointments when they're truly needed. if not, i would love to compare and commiserate.

and listen, yeah, logically, i know she has to be out for a reason. yes. clearly. i'm capable of understanding that.

but i'm also capable, very much so, of feeling abandoned over it. logic doesn't matter at that point. i can logic my logics until logic juice leaks out, doesn't stop the feelings.

if i wouldn't lose services i need very badly, i'd have just said fuck it by now. it hurts, it feels like they don't care about ya. i'm literally already dealing with feelings of abandonment, i'm sensitive as hell to it but i guess this'll just ... happen over and over. fuck my emotions, right?

so it had been rescheduled for tomorrow, and i told my friend, just wait. it'll get cancelled.

just got a call. it's cancelled. new appointment monday.

it's so great never having your therapist when you need them. it all ends up a washed out story by the time i see them and i'm worse for it.

i haven't been able to have a therapy appointment at any point when i need them. every time, no matter the therapist, i'm cancelled on. every single time. what is the fucking point of them if they're not gonna be here for me?

of course my therapist cancelled today. it's not like i needed her or anything. i'll just ... continue this mental destruction all on my own i guess!

I've been cycling rapidly lately. It's been ... difficult, to say the least. I got rid of something that had been destroying my health, and recovering from it seems to have thrown me into some serious mental health problems.

I've been having a lot of trouble right now, and having a hard time controlling my symptoms. It's been hard to describe. The song worked, and gave me something to build off of.

Right now in Minnesota schools are canceling all field trips indefinitely because it isn’t safe to take students to science museums and water sanitation facilities with agents of the federal government hanging around

Text: “A friend said those of us who live in Minneapolis should write about what's going on here for folks who live elsewhere. You need to know that whether you're a Republican, Independent or Democrat, the Constitution is being violated by our federal government. This is not about catching criminals, or even deporting people. It is about punishing an entire state, including citizens, for not supporting the president. Everyone in my part of Minneapolis is affected. On our streets, ICE is stopping people of color and demanding their papers. In America. US citizens do not have to prove citizenship to ICE. Yet people are being intimidated, some cases beaten up and detained, for requiring ICE to follow the law. ICE needs a judicial warrant to enter homes. Yet there are documented cases of them ignoring the law - violating a bedrock constitutional principle. Americans of color are staying home, afraid to go to work, school, to grocery shop, or fill their cars with gas. This isn't just "illegals" or immigrants with valid work permits, it is citizens who have had their cars rammed by ICE for merely looking Hispanic. Businesses are closing. Schools are 50 percent full. When they are open, fascists are calling in bomb threats because the president decided to make us a meme. After a daycare teacher with a valid work permit (through 2030) was snatched from her workplace, parents (and grandparents) have had to organize to watch their SCHOOLS, to make sure conditional rights are observed. This is being repeated throughout Minnesota. Imagine trying to do your job or live you life while also taking volunteer shifts to make sure the federal government doesn't act extrajudicially. Because of ICE's documented abuses, neighbors have organized to monitor federal actions. This observation is legal, as long as it doesn't interfere with a valid action. Yet since ICE killed Renee Good, they are increasingly stopping this observation, breaking car windows and …”

All of this. In this day and age, once someone decides to stop being part of the problem and be a part of the solution, I'm gonna give them at least a partial pass. Doesn't mean I have to become best friends with them, but I can at least focus on our (now) common goal instead of past differences.
