Actually Moderna reported higher VE against symptomatic disease as a result of their Phase 3 study (not published yet, woul be interesting to see results in detail). The higher NAb-titers by mNEXSPIKE had been shown in their Phase 2a study, published in January 25.

Ich war ehrlich gesagt etwas skeptisch. Aber das besagte Kapitel ist (auch bzgl. der biologischen Zusammenhänge) sehr interessant und gut geschrieben. Wüsste gerne, was Du dazu meinst, wenn Du es gelesen hast.

Habe bisher nur Kapitel 7 "Das vernachlässigte Gain of Function-Labor der Natur" gelesen. Ist alleine das Geld wert, wenn man die (leider ) hochgradig relevante und massiv instrumentalisierte Diskussion über zoonotischen Ursprung oder Lab leak von SARS-CoV2 besser verstehen möchte.

2/ Was die Studie so aussagkräftig macht ist, dass zufällige Korrelation sehr unwahrscheinlich ist, da in Wales 2013 nur bestimmter Stichtag der Geburt entschied ob jemand Impfung bekam o. nicht und dadurch fast perfekte Randomisierung wie bei RCT möglich war.

Klar darf er nicht, Drosten hat ja auch gesagt, dass sie unter Geheimhaltungspflicht stehen. Aber bin ganz der Meinung von E. Wyler, dass man Fakten braucht und nicht Wahrscheinlichkeitsangaben, die auf nicht öffentlichen Nachrichtendienstberichten beruhen und zu Spekulationen führen. That's all.

Trotzdem unklare Formulierung. "Wahrscheinlicher" kann heissen "wahrscheinlicher als vorher" oder "wahrscheinlicher als zoonotischer Ursprung". Man könnte die Kaffeesatzleserei beenden wenn man die Gründe, die zum Umdenken geführt haben, nennt. Wenn nicht sollte man m.E. auch keine Interviews geben.
