What's their backstory?

Ebina Junko, a second-year student at her senior high school, and one of the club representatives of PSIKO. She can call forth her Soul Gear, Rhea, which takes the form of a bat that allows her to crush her foes and use dark magic.

A girl who, after consuming a mysterious fruit, gained cat aspects. Her nails became incredibly durable, and her ears are sensitive to mana around her, giving her extrasensory powers.
She doesn't tend to like combat, but will step in to help her friends when needed.

Overall, I think its a good and catchy album, but not as strong as Acceptance Speech, Mothership, or Jackpot Juicer.
Favorite new tracks were Animal Surgery, Robot with Human Hair: Rebirth, Strawberry's Daughters, and The Peak of Superstition.

Personally, while I like Jon's experimentation with his vocals, I've always liked having the clean vocalist being the main focus more and having Jon's screams supplement that. It also feels like some of these songs are a bit harder to make sense of lyrically, but I might just need a few more listens

I definitely like the first half of the album more than the latter. The album itself is very much a fusion of traditional DGD and Eidola with the guitar melodies (like the opening instrumental of Animal Surgery).

Lowkey the only part of the direct that got me excited was the FE tease at the end. If I eventually get a NS2, Fire Emblem will probably be the main reason.
Everything else was either "cool, that's neat" or something I was never interested in.

70 dollars for these two games is insane bro. If they had packaged it with 64 and Sunshine, like having an updated 3D All-Stars, that would be one thing, but 70 for these two alone is nasty work.
