I've been using ChatGPT for a couple years now. Really got my feet wet building an html page 2 years ago that showed current weather conditions and an embedded Google Slideshow for our lobby. It also helped me find a way to stream the local weather radio feed online and a live radar map for it too.

The other #QGIS plugin is called Plugin Switchboard that instead of needing to open the plugin manager to toggle on and off plugins, there's a panel with a list of installed plugins to activate/deactivate helping to keep the toolbar and menu clutter to a minimum. github.com/gisn8/QGIS-P...

I use DB table comments to track metadata and changelogs, but couldn't find an easy interface to read/edit, so I have a Table Comment Notepad QGIS plugin that lists PG and GPKG layers loaded in a QGIS project for table and field-level comment updates. github.com/gisn8/QGIS-T...

Since I haven't had much formal training, it's helped me with applying common practices to my code and db layouts.

I've had it whip up a couple basic #QGIS plugins. They'd be useful for others, but idk about how appropriate it would be to add them to the official plugins. They are on my github.

For as ready to pounce as the anti-AI crowd is, I'm hesitant to admit that I use it. The hardware concerns will improve; computers used to take up floors of office buildings. Putting AI into every facet of technology these days seems like a pre-mature effort to not appear developmentally behind.

@aoc.bsky.social, @sanders.senate.gov or someone. Rs aren't interested in reopening gov until after the clock runs out on the subsidies the Ds are fighting for. Knowing that, what is the point of continuing to fight for a lost cause and letting SNAP stop adding to the suffering?

I do miss some of the Maplex options I had in ArcMap; namely shrink to fit and key labeling. Maybe QGIS 4.2 will have some pleasant labeling surprises for us? 🤞😁

It's a couple years old, and QField Cloud has had a few updates since, but it's been good to me so far. I've only been on it a month.

Nothing current. I've recently changed my process. Currently, I'm using QField/QGIS with PostgreSQL. Initial collection on people (living or deceased), stones with photos. I then use available plot maps, deeds, and burial records to add in and link everything together.

Seems to really just be one. I too am a QGIS user, but I understand you play the hand your dealt. And if I could offer you advice on your ArcGIS project, I would, but frankly it looks like you already know how to use it better than I do. Best of luck. #GISChat
