The highlight of last night’s game for me was our last-quarter composure when we took almost 3 minutes off the clock at a time when Melbourne set up well. The switching of play & controlled ball movement was soo good. That controlled ball use, led to the Hobbs goal ✅

Great way to start the Australia Day Long weekend away.
A lot of excitement around Tsatas atm. I’ve always believed that the kid is going to be Jet for various reasons.
This is what I wrote about him on @anthproc.bsky.social Bombers Blog early last year. It’s clear we are starting to see a lot of what I had foreseen during this pre-season. 🤞 #GoDons

Yeah nah that’s good. Usually the final session for week is the big one so hopefully they do some intense stuff heading into long weekend.
I can’t wait to see some proper match sim with umpires etc. Will be interesting to see how they all line up and if there are any hints heading to Rnd 1.
Great work again mate. Hoping to get back to training next week Saturday. A lot of positive signs this preseason though, training a lot of the right stuff soo here’s hoping 🙏
Got to my first look at Essendon training for 2025, & while the wind played a factor in the session, twas absolutely pleasing to see the pink boots on for the first time this preseason, & they certainly stood out

- Managed session with a little match sim
- Draftee's away at induction day
- Hoare, Sellers and Baldwin trained, No Edwards yet
- Tsatas continues to catch the eye 😍
- Caldwell involved in some match play 👀
- Davey didn't train
- Draper continues to show he can play fwd 🔥
Good to hear re Draper 🙏 and glad Tsatas is continuing to catch the eye. I’ve always said from day one Tsatas is going to be a jet. He just needed to get over his Injuries, develop into his body and develop in a position that suits him best. He should hopefully have that this year.🤞
That’s the one thing I’ve enjoyed seeing at training. Instinctively moving the ball fast and switching the ball to find a better option/avenue to goal. None of this slow chip chip stuff unless no other option or it’s a different scenario within game.

100% agree mate. I would hold onto the pick and keep it as a mid-season need. Depending on injuries, ladder position, our potential season finish, and any potential gaps or needs on the list, it could be useful to have, if the right player is available.
You see glimpses from both Hoare & Baldwin & you think he could be a handy back up or in Baldwins case (for years) a handy player, if he can get his body right. But there is no guarantees with him & I just don’t trust him to sustain a full season. Hoare looks nice but is that it?

Ohh haha, fair enough. The chicken OG does sound good. 👌 I’ve actually never had a fish bowl before. I did see them at the tennis, though. The menu looked really enticing. Will definitely need to give them a go one day for sure.
