Btw, they *knew* the gas heater was putting out heat before we moved in, and they let that go *all weekend* when it was a heat wave before contacting anyone.
They were the ones who suggested putting in a maintenance request to get it turned off, which is what we did.
But it was awful.
I am so fucking tired of landlords and their sketchy shit and the way they are trying to pressure, manipulate, and trick me into all sorts of things.
Yes, we’re working with tenants rights folx that are part of the county and will try to vanquish our foes.
But it’s too damned hot.
I have disabilities and deserve reasonable accommodations to not be exposed to heat or sun.

I’m severely light and heat sensitive.
It also means my cold air from my portable A/C is escaping.
I hate it here.

It hit 92°F here, I’m heat sensitive, my head hurts, and I’m out of the edibles that help me the most.
Electricity and water should be free.
Food should be free.
Housing should be free.
Healthcare should be free.
Education should be free.
This entire system is made up, and it is only benefitting the rich, who don’t care if we poor live or die.
Money is made up.
Anyway, hot weather is for cold sandwiches and salads and popsicles.
Cold weather is for soups and hot sandwiches.
Ice water year round for me.
Variable weather extremes make it hard for me to get the right food.
92°F down to 62°F tonight, but the high was 60s a few days ago 🫠.
It was specifically spiral ham in February 2025. Also can’t have pork ribs? Or deli ham.
Small pieces of bacon in salads have been safe.
I know the age of meat affects the histamine level, and the amount I consume, but MCAS reactions can be so arbitrary sometimes.
I have EpiPens just in case!

I really do not want cold cheese sandwiches. My favorite were ham with mayo, but I can’t have either of those things due to MCAS reactions (mayo in small occasional doses but I get addicted).
