Royal Trux "Accelerator" isn't my favorite RTX of the 90's (that'd be "Cats & Dogs") but this one hit me so hard when it was released. Blown out, lots of experiments with digital recording & the songs rock. Retro-futurism done right. My all-time favorite band.

My anglophilia was at a low ebb in the mid-90's, but FSA was a huge exception. I loved the idea of sorta gloomy loner shoegaze-y psych music with dense textures artfully made on a 4-track in some guy's bedroom.
