I need to finish Plazma Burst 2 H5 port and publish it somewhere outside of official website too (though it is already fully playable when it comes to campaign mode).
I wonder if someone will ever try to train an AI model that is specifically generates one single lightmap texture like that for the game. It could probably even react to more variables than just day/night cycle, such as indoor doors/elevators/lights/breakable objects.
Sounds like overkill though.
I usually like baked lightmaps with light bounces somewhat. Though they might matter in brighter scene games only. And take some time to implement and render.
In game's level editor such lightmap can be generated by putting camera into each texture texel essentially, about 2-3 iterations in total.
Hmm. I believe water does expand when heated up.
It looks cool, red tint looks nice too. Tint might suit depending on the purpose ^
:D
It's been my Discord profile picture for a while too :]
Nice, this service visually is just like that one other website.
Hi everyone (if someone will even see this), I make games.
