Sewing corner ready!🧵
Brain is not ready to learn how to use the sewing machine😵‍💫!

T minus 27 days till furry con😱
So far I got the fur fabrics, the polyfil cotton, the foam, the patterns for the tail and paws on hand.
Got zero progress on the head.
Will try and get a basic sewing spot set up and sew the paws or tail this weeked!💪

Mamiya actually made several grips for the RB67, but it's pretty rare and pricey in the second hand market, so I decided to made one myself.
But I later found out there really isn't a need for it😆

I'm not interested in buying a new printer for the time being😅
I live very close to a university campus, and there are TONS of print shops there, so I'll just go to them for my printing needs for now.
PS:
It's not usual for me to print large prints of built plans etc

The camera has what's called a "waist level viewfinder", and this is how use it.
(I don't want to show my whole body, so here's some pics I found online😝)

Why it failed?
1. It's too heavy, and the camera is heavy enough already!🤣
2. The controls are all on your right hand, and your left hand naturally cups like camera like this when you are shooting, so there's no need for a handle. (2/2)

Here's a failed project:
I made this handle for a super heavy camera (Mamiya RB67, ~3KG).
I custom ordered a piece of bent stainless steel. I designed and 3D printed (knife) scales, and attached them on the stainless steel with Chicago screws.

A photograph of me holding a piece of paper up against my monitor. On the monitor, there's a pattern of diagonal stripes in different colours, the pattern is meant for an inkjet printer to print out to test if the nozzles are clogged. There are two columns of stripes, the stripes are black on the left column. On the right column, the stripes are yellow, magenta, and cyan from top to down. These four colours of ink are what typical inkjet printers use. On my test print printer, the black stripes are completely missing, indicating the nozzles for the black ink is clogged up. Funnily enough, the rest of the colours printed perfectly.

The price for a new nozzle is the same price of the machine, the price for a new ink cartridge is 20% of the machine.
I decided to not get it fixed and not buy a new one, I'll go to print shops from now on. At least the scanner is still functional🙃
