Since I've got new followers I'll introduce my game. Tenebris is a ttrpg about a futuristic fantasy world abandoned by the gods. Humanity makes their last stand against an eldritch horde of demons. Humanity lives quarantined in domed cities where exorcists manage demonic outbreaks.

It's cleaning time for my #ttrpg #starterpack, removing a few inactive accounts and adding some new and exciting folks.

Does anyone have any recommendations on who to add?

I may not get to playtest as much as I wanted to this weekend, but I should still be able to get my Friday night DnD group to playtest Tenebris with me.

I've got some work to do today to tweak the enemies. They still don't feel right.

I'm an indie dev

I made a lot of progress on Tenebris today. I have overhauled vehicles and cohorts (NPC allies of the players). Over the course of the last week I've increased the amount of customization available in the lower levels. Reading through Draw Steel inspired me. I plan to playtest again this weekend.

Today's Tenebris playtest was also a nail-biter. The boss wasn't even the biggest threat. It was all the little enemies grouping up that nearly took them out. I guess that's data for me to consider.

I really thought our DnD boss fight tonight was going to be a TPK. The dice were out to get the players at the start of it. Luckily the party healer stayed up the whole time with one last clutch heal. Everyone was depleted of resources by the end of it. It was intense.

Somehow we need people to rise above the culty parts. People can't let others think for them.

Totally agree. We need personalities insofar as we need people communicating ideas, but we don't need cults of personality

It's such an awful situation to be in.

I'm listening to music and thinking a lot about my past that led me to where I am now. Maybe I can make a playlist that represents my present.

I wish I had experience with that sort of thing. It's a lot to have to deal with

the warping/destruction of Twitter was a violence of incredibly broad scope, yeah. I deleted the app and my account and I don't miss what it has become, but I do miss the world where this violence was not done to us.

The worldbuilding of Tenebris has changed a lot over the years, so the original story I was making is pretty much obsolete now.

Tenebris actually started out as a setting for a book I wanted to write. Maybe I will get back into writing it one day. My journey deconstructing religion was a major inspiration for writing it. Gods in Tenebris are obviously real, but the question is are they good and truthful?

Today might just be a chill out kind of day. I can't really get myself in the mood to do anything.

What I plan to do next week is work on the adventure that will accompany the Tenebris playtest some more. One day when I'm satisfied with it, I might take it to a game store and see if I can get anyone to play it. That is, if I can muster the courage.
