“You can’t reform a carton of sour milk,” Fetterman told Ben-Ami, according to notes from the meeting, referring to the Palestinians. Fetterman said he did not believe in a two-state solution and claimed he had never met an Arab person who would condemn Hamas. “Correction,” the notes from the meeting stated. “Only a single Arab he has met with that staff was present for wouldn’t outright condemn Hamas.” Fetterman went on to make statements that shocked people. In opposing a cease-fire, he said, “Let’s get back to killing.” A person who heard the conversation told me, “He said, ‘Kill them all.’” In a statement, Fetterman denied the account, adding, “Any reference to killing was solely about Hamas, and I do support the destruction of that organization, down to its last member.”

A reminder that according to Fetterman's own former staffers, Fetterman had a meeting with J-Street president Jeremy Ben Ami in which he told Ben Ami that he believes Arabs are like a "carton of sour milk" and that we should get back to killing.

"Kill them all" Fetterman is reported as having said.

“No Kings” Protests Are Just Not Enough These are worthwhile events, and leftists shouldn’t shun them. But stopping Trump requires building power. If protests aren’t coupled with organizing, the right will win.

If the left cedes these spaces to Lincoln Project alumni and “independent” liberal influencers who are secretly funded by the Democratic Party, then “resistance” becomes whatever they say it is.

Donald was seven years old, and his father was brought before a U.S. Senate committee investigating abuses in a housing program for war veterans and middle class families. President Eisenhower had been outraged to learn of the bribes that developers paid to bureaucrats and of the alleged profiteering practiced by Trump and others. Ike called them "sons of bitches." As federal investigators had discovered, the elder Trump had collected an extra $1.7 million in rent-equivalent to $15 million today-before beginning to pay back his low-cost government loan. He was able to do this because a bureaucrat named Clyde Powell approved the paperwork. Powell, who had never been paid more than a modest government salary, had mysteriously amassed a small fortune. (While it was clear Powell accepted bribes, the sources were never officially identified.) In addition to collecting the extra rent, Trump paid himself a substantial architect's fee. And he charged inflated rents based on an estimate of construction costs that was far greater than what he actually spent. All of this was legal, even if it did victimize taxpayers, veterans, and other renters.

It’s no wonder that Trump has such a twisted view of war and sacrifice. And the utility of bribes.
