Broadview Police Chief Thomas Mills said ICE agents are draining the resources of his department and the community by making false 911 calls. He has demanded ICE turn over the names of all federal officers involved in each incident, and said he is ready to take ICE to court.
05.10.2025 01:36 β π 677 π 279 π¬ 12 π 38I spoke to a Venezuelan woman who was arrested in this raid and later released with her 4yo son. She said agents broke down their door, pointed guns at them and made sexualized remarks about Venezuelan women. When she returned to her apartment it was boarded up and all her possessions were gone.

ICE has held him under 24/7 guard at a hospital, registering him under a pseudonym, for *37 days* without telling him why.
A judge has ordered his immediate release.

Many detainees have decried the conditions within the facility.
The messages show high-level officials in the Trump administration discussing the possible deployment of the Armyβs 82nd Airborne Division, an infantry force that has dropped into combat zones in both World Wars, Vietnam and Afghanistan.

Shot on Pentax 67 105mm, Portra 400, developed and scanned at home.

01.10.2025 23:12 β π 25 π 8 π¬ 0 π 0SCOOP β The White House instructed all federal agency leadership on Tuesday to send out a mandatory message to workers blaming the impending potential government shutdown on House Democrats, The Handbasket was first to learn. Absolutely no modifications to the email were permitted.
My story:
The US Forest Service website now displays a banner that reads βThe Radical Left Democrats shutdown the government.β This is an explicit breach of the Hatch Act, but nothing new for the Trump administration.

Wherein I interview a one-time #Texas oilman and learn about the massive mess left behind when his company collapsed.
It's also a glimpse into how oil wells get orphaned and how New Mexico may be on the hook for $1.6 billion in cleanup costs in coming years.

Asking for funding is a wildly uncomfortable experience but we gotta do it: this newsletter is reader-funded, and I've got some goals I need your help to accomplish. This month, I'm hoping to reach 50 paid subs to the newsletter.
If I reach 1000 by end of 2026, I'll fly to you and fight your bossπ

Stateline spoke to nearly a dozen firefighters, agency staffers and contractors, who said that top officials assigned to the fire deployed the crews to a remote location under false pretenses so federal agents could check their immigration status.

After mass layoffs and deferred resignation offers hollowed out a large part of the U.S. Forest Service, federal firefighters have been left to pick up the slack β some now clean toilets while others mow lawns around ranger stations.

Hi everyone! Iβve unfortunately been diagnosed with a likely rib fracture from the hospital. Likely it occurred on Friday, August 8 during a protest where I was in the middle of asking for a PIO/supervisor.
As is clear in the video, I waited for a moment for a break in the line moving forward.
