There was a time when happiness did not arrive with batteries, screens, or instructions. It showed up in a simple cardboard box, worn at the corners, carrying the faint smell of tape and possibility. With a little imagination, it could become anything!

This weekend is in two different months. February is the shortest month because of ancient Roman superstitions and efforts to align their calendar with lunar cycles. Silly stuff. But there's lots of that! Grateful the shortest month is in winter! Enjoy!
Yes, adios January! The least popular month is consistently January, frequently followed by February, according to U.S. polls, due to cold weather, post-holiday blues, and lack of exciting events. Guess we're in a rut time of year! π€£

Things worth getting rid of! ~
If you must know New Year's Eve/New Year's Day are not among my fav holidays. I don't think I'm alone. While we can seek to improve ourselves any day of the year, a new year can provide motivation to those who need it.
Yep, just 3 days left in 2025. There's lessons and memories for every year. As we approach 2026, we may feel all kinds of emotions from apprehension to exhilaration and everything in between. Still, we should always be hopeful.

There was a time when toys were handcrafted and beautiful. These werenβt just toys; they were heirlooms. They were treasures passed down through generations.
Today toys get tossed aside quickly as thereβs always another one, always something newer, always the next thing.
The season isn't stressful.
Our thoughts just put too many ornaments
on the tree.
This year has almost gone. Not all our friends and family made it. Never take for granted the people you love. ~ Something all of us eventually realize during our lifetime.
