Recently started playing Metaphor's new game plus mode after I finished my first run a few months ago. Such a lovely game, and it made me want to try and draw Hulkenberg & Gallica while also trying do do some experiments with the metal shading!

August 13th: did some feet studies today since I need the practice, don’t know if either these or hands are harder to draw to be honest

Even without the ability pickup, Eelektross can sure pick up & throw those big nuggets (from where, who knows?)

This is the last of the three animations made for the bigger Tynamo line commission. Although it took a bit to make, it was quite fun to do!

August 12th: back to some basics for a little bit by doing some basic shape practice, could really use the practice to get my shapes a bit more 3D-feeling (also need to work on my lighting knowledge)

Look, the shiny Tynamo evolved into an Eelektrik!

This was both my favourite and the hardest of the commissioned animations to do, but I really like how the spin animation came out!

August 11th: Some head ref studies for today. Actually feeling pretty good about these, of course the faces are still to thin and the features too big, but we’re slowly going somewhere

August 10th: illustration studies of today! Again when body parts have a bit of perspective I completely fall apart oopsies. Still trying and not giving up though

August 9th: illustration studies, YAAAAAY!
Body parts having a bit of perspective is still hard for my small baby brain, but we are learning still.

August 8th: did some photo studies today of poses with a bit of foreshortening. Really should practice this more by incorporating it in my finished work but ITS HARD AAAAA

August 7th: continuing my grind of being able to draw shoes in the future by doing some studies

Since I already did the Cynthia outfit from Pokemon Masters EX, I thought "why not draw Skyla's outfit as well!"

August 4th: been a while since I did clothing reference studies, so I decided I wanted to practice my frilly material knowledge since it’s cool but hard

A bit later then originally planned, but I also did a few gestures today. Not really noticing some sort of improvement in my finished work, but I feel like I’m becoming more comfortable in doing this exercise

August 3rd: illustration studies for today again! Weak line of actions, torso’s & pelvisses that are too short and hair being a mess, but we’re doing this to learn RAAAAAAAAAH

Wanted to draw @skullwyrm.bsky.social's Camilla for this years artfight (all be it a bit too late haha), while also trying to practice my knowledge on frilly materials a bit more!

Didn't quite know if I preferred the version with or without the mesh so just have both :P

As is tradition, I created a little piece to celebrate my birthday! While I'm currently quite stressed with me looking for a job and all, I'm very happy about the improvement of my art skills these last few months which is keeping me sane for now.
