Earle-Sears is reprehensible, but it's so frustrating that Abigail Spanberger won't answer basic questions about most anything. Never a yes or a no.

Winsome Earle-Sears is perhaps the most insufferable politician this side of Kari Lake. Every time she opened her mouth, she made my eyes roll and my blood boil. She cannot be governor of anything.

I would disagree with this advice anyway, but the reality is, the next Democratic president will not have the tools that scotus handed Trump because the Supreme Court treats Republican and Democratic presidents differently....

It is pretty galling that the Supreme Court spent four years telling Biden "you can't do that without Congress" then allowed Trump to seize a once-unthinkable amount of power from Congress within nine months and concentrate law-making authority almost entirely in the executive branch.

They are, and the consequences are extremely dire, but that pales in comparison to the much bigger problem: we don't have a legitimate president of the United States right now. What we are to make of his enablers and supporters who have thereby also delegitimized themselves is a secondary problem.

The Trump administration and its enforcers want to control your speech, your behavior, even your public expressions of mourning. You are not allowed to criticize the president’s associates. You do not even retain the right to remain silent; you must make public expressions of emotions demanded by the administration and its allies or incur its disfavor, which can threaten your livelihood. This is the road to totalitarianism, and it does not end with one man losing his television show.
