I've always considered that page a slight meta joke. Its point was to show the tedium of Concrete's swimming for hours, but if you check the panels for repeats where I might've used xeroxes and see that I did not, you appreciate how tedious it was to draw, too!

Moving at the Speed of Concrete: “The Transatlantic Swim” By Tom Shapira Orson Welles’ 1958 film, Touch of Evil, opens with a single continuous shot that shows a bomb being planted in a car. A slow drive follows as the car crosses the border from Mexico t…

I thank this writer for discussing matters of historical importance, like @paulchadwick.bsky.social's 150 panel page from Concrete.

Still can't quite believe that pager op. Incredible long con. And they had to activate the instant somebody reported discovery.

I saw something about a IRGC general who's made it out of bombing sites where high officials were killed in the nick of time on three occasions. You have to suspect Mossad has penetrated.

Five-minute test spots PFAS down to parts-per-trillion When Sandia scientists Ryan Davis and Nathan Bays set out to find a better way to absorb and degrade PFAS in water sources, they kept running into the same issue: Detecting the chemicals in samples took too long.

A new testing method enables detection of PFAS in water down to parts-per-trillion within five minutes, offering a faster and more accessible approach for environmental monitoring. doi.org/hbrwbt

Graphic Novels go into storage. There's a list included with the article. Lots of very mainstream stuff. Probably honored every objection that came in.

Alas, I only made the list because I did a fill-in issue of Y: The Last Man to give Pia a breather.

In Canada yet!

I'll always wonder what horse's head Rove put in his bed to get him to (in a press conference in which he broke down in tears) step aside for Arnold's run for the Governorship.

Listen I'm gonna say this:

The world is always burning. It was burning when I was a kid.

Promoting art, including and especially your own art, is an act of rebellion and defiance against the people who want to throw gasoline on it.

You can usually get autocorrect to stand down by adding an unnecessary "s" on the end of a word then deleting that letter. Don't know why but it works.
