And the others. A rock band, I don't remember which, reused the painting for The Big Sleep as an album cover. Adams did many covers for Agatha Christie, which were collected in a coffee-table book. He also worked on the film Alien!

Style reminds me of David K. Stone, who did a little book that formed my vision of what being an illustrator in 60s America was when I was a teen.

Currently reading. Learned that the Lucas Museum bought all the originals to Crumb’s “Genesis” for 2.9 million.
