Ten minutes into this episode of Voyager and Kim has broken the Prime Directive (Accidentally)
The year and a half mark has been consistently when I start getting frustrated with my job and I let all of it fester inside me to explode in impulsive decisions. We shall see. At least I'm better than I was a year ago.
The second milestone is the year and a half mark. Based on my past two jobs, the one year mark is the toughest because things (Probably coincidentally) started going downhill. I'm optimistic about this job because it doesn't look like it changes that much.
Once again, it is important to remind myself of where I was a year ago, and how much my life has improved. I've made so many friends working this job, and hopefully outside of it (I'm going to Orlando tomorrow to play fighting games in person!), but this one year mark is the first milestone.
It has been a year since I started my current job. I have a lot on my mind. Firstly, I know that I am in a better place mentally than I was a year ago. Secondly, I know that I haven't really progressed on my literary projects as much as I wanted, but that doesn't bother me that much.
I scanned the pencils this time for my first time drawing a deer.

It's an ouroboros and the alcohol is higher wages and healthcare (and other great things like housing, food, and clothing--the necessities of life)
Then there's wanting book prices to drop whilst wanting creatives to be paid better, which I'm not entirely sure are connected issues. Books need to sell more for creatives to make more, which leads back to books are expensive, which leads back to we don't have enough money.

A late start is still a start!
Good morning.
I am actually checking if the USB cable was the issue from my preamp causing my speakers to randomly cut out for a second.
I could be reading comics right now, but I am doing nothing vibing to "Baby Be Mine" by Michael Jackson.
I need to pick up Grommets next time I'm at my LCS...I really enjoyed that first issue.
Home. It's comforting. Thank you.
Can you put the pride flag in your name or is that not a thing? I feel lost without you having it next to your name.
My body is not built for Metroidvanias, so I'm inclined to agree. I did half of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Got to the mirror castle then stopped). They feel tedious, but Blasphemous felt more so. Still, the game looks fantastic.
I need Jae Lee to draw more covers for AB....
