Clean sheet wanker here but feel weโre conceding a few goals that are too easy. all three Brentford goals, the Crystal Palace goal last week & West Hamโs first goal. Fair?
Also, hopefully Xhaka is back for Burnley. Praying that he is ๐

Is that redemption for the shambles of the cup game two seasons ago particularly for Ballard & also for Hume when he came on?
Also, although they have undoubted quality, isnโt it funny how when Newcastle donโt have a miles better than us, they couldnโt beat us yesterday?
To put some perspective onto it. As frustrating at the defeat to Fulham was, Sunderlandโs immediate target as far as Iโm concerned is get to 40 points as quickly as possible.
To do that, we need to get 21 points from 26 Premier League games. Do you feel this is realistically achievable? Imo it is.
Agree that a point's decent given how bad the first 30 mins was. Shows our character when we've gained eight points now from losing positions. Is it still a good weekend for Sunderland that, despite West Ham's win, nobody at the bottom won & we're currently still 11 points clear of the bottom three?
04.11.2025 08:51 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Five of our last six without scoring is concerning but why isnโt more being made of the fact weโre conceding poor goals recently?
Sick of this being ignored. Weโre not conceding loads of good chances but is it not as concerning that the few that are being created are results in goals against us?
Getting a bit tired of hearing the 'we can't flick a switch and turn it on for the play-offs' personally. I get why people say it but I mean, come on. If the players can't find that extra percentage, regardless of cohesion & momentum, then should any of them be playing in games of that magnitude?
21.04.2025 21:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Does this game prove why we donโt use 4-4-2? Yes we beat Sheff Utd with it but Iโve not been convinced with it. Preston & Plymouth games spring to mind.
While we were still very poor for the standards weโve set, we had slightly more control when we shifted back to 4-3-3 in my opinion.
Is Mayenda proof that fans often definitively judge a player too quickly? Just because someone isnโt the finished article straightaway it doesnโt automatically mean theyโre a poor player.
01.03.2025 09:12 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Although a poor run of form is obviously never a good thing, is it better to happen now to then (hopefully) regain momentum ahead of the playoffs should we finish there?
22.02.2025 22:08 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0At what point can the officials be criticised without people jumping down our throats?
Ref was NOT the reason we didnโt beat Watford but doesnโt mean he canโt be held accountable for own performance. Which for me personally was especially shocking in the second half i.e. Isidor non penalty.
Something tells me this is going to be a saga this window. #SAFC
08.01.2025 00:02 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Enzo Le Fee loan from Roma to Sunderland is real. Not done but definite interest from SAFC.
07.01.2025 22:16 โ ๐ 38 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 3One clean sheet in 10 games. At what point are we going to stop exclusively pointing everything at going forward (shouldโve took our chances) if we keep conceding stupid goals at the other end? When is the amount of poor goals recently going in against us going to be highlighted?
29.12.2024 18:07 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0How important is it to recognise Sunderland, like everyone else in the Championship, are susceptible to bad runs? Tired of seeing some fans tear our team down while bigging everyone else like theyโre invincible.
07.12.2024 17:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Tomorrow the first of a few (on paper) winnable games this month. If weโre still looking at top two then we need to win a few of the games this month to keep in the picture going into the transfer window next month.
I have a gut feeling weโll win - assuming it gets played. Been wrong before though!
Day four of following all Sunderland fans back on Bluesky.
Let's try and find each other. Share so others can discover fellow supporters.
