by the way, if you still have a twitter account you use on the regular because that's where "everyone is", i'd highly encourage you to encourage people to ditch the platform. seriously, any time i feel down it's always something stemming from twitter. just stop using it please.

i swear every oneUI update is worse than the last, i did not ask for any of these features. why are they just taking apple design cues on everything. next phone is gonna be a pixel on everything </3

quick update: i got it to read a disc once after lubing the laser carriage, but now it thinks there's a disc stuck in it and won't take more :(

thread scowering tells me that it's a problem with a specific daughterboard and i will be ordering and replacing it soon though :)

she lives!!! now to try the disc drive...

after a quick lunch break she's back together enough to test! not sparkly but a whole lot better than before. let's see if she works!!

looking much better already.... we let these dry too (i will clean my shower after this)

after some isopropyl she is looking MUCH happier... maybe this is why she wasn't reading. we let it dry and reassemble soon
