The Little White House, in Warm Springs, GA. is well worth a visit. The human side of FDR is very much on display, and the town is where he gained compassion and humanity. The people in Warm Springs and especially the other polio patients, taught him compassion and humility.3/4

Of course he is already somewhat of an expert on FDR, his Capstone paper in junior college was over the Casablanca Conference. I am becoming an expert, lol. One thing that is striking to me is that as a President, FDR was very much a civil servant. He had a desire to help ALL Americans 2/3

On a research trip with my son, he is writing his senior capstone (thesis) paper, the subject needs to involve war and memory, and he has decided to write about FDR as the leader of America with an emphasis on "The Four Freedoms", the UN and the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights". 1/3

Conservative billionaires are funding a coordinated effort to dismantle public education to pay for private school vouchers that largely benefit wealthy families and enable corporations to avoid their fair share in taxes.
Now they have a friend in the White House.
