OTOH, if I kinda/sorta know somebody and despite having never seen them make poor choices, but see them frequently ignoring their fren or frequently talking about sitters or kenneling etc my spidey-sense will start tingling. One of the most reliable benchmarks I have ever encountered for judging the character of someone has been: how they treat their furry frens. People can be consistent fuck ups in just about every other way, but if they take good care of their fren, I'm gonna think "jury still out on that person".

I feel compelled to state that although I do give into the temptation of snark from time to time, my primary interest in being on this social media platform is to engage in good faith discussion with reasonable people. Go elsewhere if you're looking for a fight or a negging endorphin boost.
