And it deserves to be seen, respected, and appreciated.

So for all of you holding your families up, for being the driving force keeping it together. I see you, I am you and it’s okay to sit and do nothing. Just like I am trying to do now.

They unpacked the bags, restocked the fridge,
refilled the soap, changed the toilet paper roll, and put the clothes away.

They also made the dentist appointment, fed the animals , packed the lunches, rotated the laundry, and still knew which jacket you would need tomorrow.

Imagine being a spouse saying, “I’m out of deodorant.” Then the next day, like magic, it’s on the counter waiting for you. But it wasn’t magic. It was them.

They remembered when you forgot.
They added it to the list.
They bought it while juggling groceries, and dinner and a career.

I took today for me, and it is hard. It’s hard to lay here, not caring for anyone but myself. I am glad to have those around me who encouraged me to do such but I still feel like I’m letting everyone down. I saw this though, and it made pause, & put in perspective the weight I carry. Feelings are good, even the bad ones. But I’m gonna need the universe to calm the eff down right now because I can only process so much at once. Today’s #dailyaffirmation “My sadness does not define me; it encourages me to take care of myself.” The universe gives us what we need, not what we want.

Dykes don’t want flowers. We want companionship as we dance on the graves of our enemies. Also pockets, pants with pockets would be nice.

Mm when your in bed with them? Or rather when then the only thought in your brain is how when you see them you want to ravage them and make them yours. When it’s all consuming, and you want them in mind and body.

There is still time. For whatever you want in life. life is just beginning and the best is still yet to come.

One of the best things I do for myself is a #dailyaffirmation. I have a few decks of cards and the universe helps me draw what I need Not necessarily what I want. Whomever you are, you belong here, we want you here, take up space. If they don’t like it, tell them to go find less.

Sunday #mealprep is done! Pigs in the blanket, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, pizza pockets, pumpkins snickerdoodles, mini apple pies and a loaf of fresh maple bread.

There is even some extra to share with some beloved friends.

I often have those conversations too! I saw her today and walked over with an acorn and said “want to know the the things you can do with acorns”. and then launched into how to make flour.
