#NowWatching a real blast from the past! Brings back fond memories of browsing the horror section of the video store as a teenager with my friends. Over 30 years later, it's still a lot of fun, but not as creepy as I remember.

Fists in the Pocket is remarkable. A twisted, claustrophobic psychodrama with great performances and cinematography.

🤣 It's such a great film and Dennis Hopper is amazing. He's "bringing the Beatles back to Hamburg"!

Been a long time since I had last seen 2001 but it remains magnificent. The American Friend and My Heart is That Eternal Rose are new to me and are both excellent. Eyes of Laura Mars was slightly disappointing. Had all the elements of a New York set giallo but didn't quite come together for me.

Hadn't seen The Blair Witch Project for years. It's still incredibly creepy. Really liked the unusual tone of Blood and Diamonds. Been meaning to see Douglas Sirk's Magnificent Obsession and it didn't disappoint. Melodrama dialled up to 11!

All films I've been meaning to watch for ages. Enjoyed Man, Pride and Vengeance the most. Luigi Bazzoni's films are always visually stunning and this is no exception.

The White Reindeer was great. Folk horror with a shapeshifting vampire.

Definitely can see the influence of It! on Alien!
