Kaltag, a tan and brown chinook husky dog (as seen in the movie Balto) begs for treats at a doorstep. He holds a bag bearing his name. The drop bag is from an Iditarod race, a musher team sends these ahead for resupplying, this one for the town of Kaltag Alaska.

I miss him tooooo. I brought him out for FC 2020. The PVC coating on his shorts had peeled so badly I ended up peeling it all away before the fursuit parade. I brought him to MFF 2022 but I only got him out on a short Monday walkaround before checkout. 💚
Suit turns 20 next year. Yikes!

Ya know, I saw this same 1977 Spider-Man pilot in a movie theater in Bogota Colombia in summer 1979.

I also saw Superman (with Christopher Reeves) that summer. My cousins asked me what they said during the Krypton scenes, white subtitles disappeared in the white background.

And that’s a big reason I started with a bunny fursona. (Twilight would argue I’ve always been a bunny)
