Rare retro art from a 1987 Nintendo famicom wall calendar. This features Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, and a bunch of Koopa and other characters all playing in a band under the ocean. I've been stitching together the 2400dpi scans I made from the 1987 #Nintendo wall calendar. It's slow going BUT I did get the art for Super #Mario 2 repaired & cleaned!

I got barely any sleep last night. It brings back bad memories, but it was only one night.

Life has been fine so far

The Bowser in the Sky skybox from Super Mario 64 is well-known for its ominous appearance. However, it is actually made by combining real sky photos from texture libraries and then color-shifting them. Restoring the image from the original files shows it to be rather serene.

While I agree with Reecee here, I think Reecee and other Nintendo youtubers need to be accountable too. If you think the prices are bad, then don't buy the games. Don't complain about the prices and buy them anyway. It does nothing. I can't overstate that enough.

I feel bad for Nintendeen honestly, this constant negativity can’t be healthy. A few months ago, his channel had so much potential with his retrospectives and better structured and thoughtful criticisms but now, he just devolved into the Switch 2 hate grift while also being a contrarian.
