So far I could't push one through the floor even once, which is great! (This is Godot with Jolt btw)
Welp, so an issiue that bothered me is (was) that rigid bodys, pretty much exclusively gibs could randomly fall through the floor, especially when jumping around on them (lol)
So today i tested all kinds of settings to prevent this...

One of my guinea pigs for testing my IWAD was @lvendead.bsky.social's FORLORN.
I kept second-guessing my work while testing in vanilla Doom 2 because the texture use is so eclectic, but this mapset gave me a really lovely cohesion to compare my textures and make sure they went together nicely.

So how do you handle this? How do you make extreme challenges for people that need them and keep the enemy count low? Is it the Unreal route with very clever enemys?
Maybe. Probably the route I will go in future projects I think.
QBJ3 is really great and a work of art but it made me realise I'm not into those extreme high enemy count maps.
My personal feel is that it takes something off the experience and makes the whole thing go stale quick, and believe me, I do not like saying that, but it's just how I feel. ...
Yeah I thought about that too. I respect it, but personally I like maps with way less enemies better.
I think too many enemies is exhausting, and takes something from the experience. But that's just how I feel.
