I made the textures by building a 3D branch from a transparent pine needle image, and rendered it from a top down view, then downscaled and dithered it.
21.01.2026 10:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The scene is just dark ambient light + fog. The tree branches need to have nice silhouette, so I fiddle around with their placement until it looks interesting, and I tried to break up the edges of the textures to make them look as detailed as possible.
