It’s fascinating to me that we all implicitly understand that violence, even murder, in art can be a symbolic way of exploring deeper themes but the second art has weird sex in it everyone assumes it is 100% literal

Keeping porn as a form of protected speech is crucial, bc if the gov can ban porn for being too "degenerate", they can (& will) ban anything else that they deem to be degenerate as well

(Sex ed/CSA prevention, queerness, adult couples sending nudes to each other, non-sexual artistic nudity, etc)
