Yeah as much as Itch aren't the main villains of this situation I hate when I see people defending their behavior and defending their compliance with Visa and Mastercard. Liberals are coming out of the woodwork to defend them and it's simply more evidence to me they don't care about queer people.

Itch did all of these things because Itch is an incompetent company which panicked and thrashed around the moment it came under scrutiny.

This was the gentlest possible test for the times we are now heading into.

They showed their colours and I will not forget this, nor should anyone else.

They didn't need to do this with no warning. They didn't need to remove every NSFW product from search. They didn't need to steal from and threaten their creators. They CERTAINLY didn't need to hide all LGBTQ+ content from the UK regardless of whether it is adult or not.

For the record: No I don't think itch get off the hook for their vast array of negligent-to-malicious behaviour in response to this situation just because they are now, after the fact, making some vague gestures towards improving.
