Image depicts a young warrior in an ornate armor, holding up a sword with both hands while there's a blue horned demon shooting pink rays from his eyes. On the bottom left a red dragon can also be seen. In the orange and yellow sky, a young lady in red attire can be seen atop of a flying dragon like creature.

Super Thunder Blade clean artwork by Yoshiaki Yoneshima used on the cover of the Mega Drive (PAL/JP) and Sega Genesis releases. Image depicts the military style helicopter used in the game, which is heavily inspired in Blue Thunder from the TV series (which in turn is a modified Aérospatiale SA-341G Gazelles) flying by with two more behind. On the background, a city landscape can be seen with high rise buildings and the sun shining behind. Below there are 3 Hind Ds on the left, flying over an exploding battleship on the sea and three tanks with explosions all around on the right side.
