I hope you also nod to yourself knowing nobody will ever find your treasure on the island you’re sailing sea from.

You love books. You sometimes actually read them. You quite like writers too.

Almost feel sorry for the haters who are trying to spin Muslims voting for a woman in a party led by a gay Jewish man is evidence of Islamist sectarianism
In fact it's evidence of genuine tolerance, rejection of superficial identity politics and ability to prioritise tackling common concerns of cost of living, protecting public services and rejecting war mongering.
And the promotion of mutual respect and individual freedoms.
The coming together of people is terrifying for the ruling elites.

Totally this.

The rightwing hate β€œjournalists” are spinning Muslims voting for a woman in a party led by a gay Jewish man as Islamist sectarianism.

Waking to a Reform victory was genuinely scary prospect: emboldening the worst of the right (including in Labour, sadly). Even tougher β€˜rhetoric’ on people of colour, LGBTQ folk, people seeking asylum, disabled people. Words which hurt, embolden bigots and which become harmful policy.

Good news to wake to. Hate lost. Hope won.

The Greens winning. Tories losing their deposit (for only second time since 1962). Reform defeated.

67% of folk didn’t vote Reform
or Tory. Labour need to recognise this and stop aping the Right and dragging our discourse and communities down.

Hi, if you’re asking AI to write your book you’re not actually writing. You’re poking a Frankenparrot fashioned from rotting flesh on stolen bones covered in the feathers of a million other birds. You’re condoning theft. You’re trashing our planet. You’re robbing yourself of the chance to grow
