2p's worth. If it'savailable , try and get the NSAWC A/B version. You get the option of either a 1 or 2 seater, cool scheme and a vast amount of weapons. But, its an early A/B with NSI and a PW engine/nozzle only.

Not got my hands on any of their Gold Series yet. The 'original' boxings are pretty decent , once you know the known issues and limitations. Plus you'll get a vast array of underwing stores, most if which you'll consign to spares drawer.

From memory it's usually on the clear sprue in airfix kits and it's a 2 part ( one clear one plastic) on the revell

There are several airfix kits that have the Hs2, some lancs, think there's a Halifax too. Might have one in a spares stash if needed?

A very good stir and a drop more of thinner. I use a pipette to drop specific amounts in each pot. I've also added ball bearings to each pot. Helps break up any congealed pigment that occurs between builds.

I pre-thinned the 3 main colours as I build a lot of bundeswehr vehicles (40+) so far. Made sense to me.

Front, I used revell aquacolours over the top of rattle can mid-grey primer. All 3 camo colours are thinned, in pot, with revell airbrush thinner. Mixed thoroughly and applied with a number 2 brush. All over green then apply black then brown. Touched as required due to missing bits or handling.

MIM-104F build progress. Fiddly nylon wiring attached to launcher tubes. Will leave until full cured then attach them, with extreme care, to the launch base.

Decided to strip the original paint as it dried very streaky. Repainted with a fresh pot of XF53, much nicer finish and lighter dried colour. Onto the tyres

And where we are now, in terms of sub assemblies, we're almost complete. Primered these after these pics were taken.

Oh, and it was electric too. That'll teach him to wear socks in his loafers on a cold wet day
