Yes, that all makes sense. It doesn’t negate the fact that the UK would be better off in the EU than out. Clearly there would be hurdles to overcome.

I don’t think joining the EU is on an invitation basis, but you may be right. I agree that bridges need to be strengthened but my understanding is that the government is doing that and some countries are keen to have us.
I wouldn’t trust Trump, of course not!

Expert vs drug addict? Hmmm, who to believe…

How do you know that?

The sad thing is he has said that, but he still won’t take the next logical step to rectify the situation

There I was thinking the political parties had to poll people to check it was okay to breathe. Surely the Labour Party has polled on views of returning to the EU, hopefully amongst the general public rather than just reform voters. Consequently, I agree, just get on with rejoining

Agreed

And then of course Andrew Wakefield didn’t help in 1998 with his bogus research on the MMR vaccine. I don’t think vaccine rates have really recovered since then.

He also is no friend of the trans community. So I don’t trust Streeting either.

What a stubborn man! Even in the face of all the evidence that rejoining the EU would benefit the UK economically, which is the government’s no 1 priority allegedly

It’s going to kill more than just its supporters. It’s going to kill people all over the world who had no say at all.

Ah, I should have thought it through. Their handy get out clause

I’m sorry, what? Am I missing something? Do I need to have my eyes tested? Is that the telegraph saying we need to rejoin the EU? If so, then yes, I agree

Why do BBC licence payers have to pay the salary of this man? He isn’t really up to the job of political editor. He clearly demonstrates political preference, which surely goes against the BBC charter?

Does Farage never follow the research, which clearly shows working from home (for those who are able to) is more productive?

Just wondering does the water need to be clean or can it have sewage in it? If the latter we might manage in the UK. If it needs to be clean water then where on earth are we going to get enough water from for all the proposed data centres in the UK?

I was going to say the same. If you want to study marine biology I would have thought it would be first choice on most peoples list.

Well, he’s clearly not only let the government down, he’s let the country down. Why is it taking him so long to go?
